Claire's lens based artistic practice examines the ways in which identity is constructed, challenging perceptions through visual representation, whether of areas, roles or individuals. A particular area of current research is the portrayal of the mother in contemporary society.
When freelancing Claire specialises in arts, performance, exhibition and installation work and also has extensive experience teaching photography, particularly working with people from diverse backgrounds or with special needs.
